Catfish pepper soup recipe

Ingredients 


2 Catfish or any fish of your choice

1/2 thump-size  Ginger

4 cloves Garlic

1 tbsp mixed pepper soup spice

 2 Pepper or add if you want to

1 large Green pepper 

1 medium Onion

15 njansang seed

Chopped scents leaves

Salt

Maggi/ seasoning 


Instructions 


Note : how to watch catfish Put the fish in a bowl, add enough salt and scrub fish with salt, don’t add water at this point.

When some slime comes out, rinse with hot water thoroughly. Then, repeat with salt and rinse with cold water until you can’t feel the slime anymore.


  1. Blend the green pepper, onion, garlic, ginger and peppers until smooth 
  2. Add water to a pot on medium heat
  3. And add ground njangsang, pepper soup mixed spice, Maggi , salt, add the blended items in stage 1 and the catfish. Stir till well combined.
  4. Bring to a boil for 9 minutes. Then add the slice scent leaves let it simmer for 1 minutes 
  • You can taste to adjust the seasoning if needed to add the seasoning add it and stare carefully to not scatter the fish

And your pepper soup is ready serve hot with any compliments you wish
